Jahzel Dotel is a Dominican-American singer, songwriter, and composer with ASCAP. A sassy, sweet, soulful artist, who mixes her jazz and soul background plus her many influences, while honoring her Caribbean roots with rhythmic styles; creating an alternative pop/soulful sound with her unique vocals. Her music has taken her to perform nationally and internationally, including Dominican Republic, Spain, Colombia, and The Bahamas.
She released her debut album “Leftovers” in 2016, plus 6 singles, and is soon releasing her second album, recorded live called “Jahzel (A)live. Simultaneously, Jahzel Dotel has been collaborating and songwriting for other artists.
As a bilingual songwriter, she expresses her versatility when writing for other artists, which has allowed her to write with producers, songwriters and artists in many different genres, from Latin urban to trap to dance and pop, both in English and in Spanish.
Jahzel Dotel has collaborated with a wide range of producers, songwriters and artists, such as Ella Bric, Vikina, Young Miko, Kordelya, Luke Arens, Justin Donahue to collaborating in music by/for Benny Benassi, Walshy Fire, Trip, Maffio, and more.
