Balance Breach (formed in 2015, in Mikkeli) is a Finnish metalcore and djent group. The ensemble was established by Antti Halonen, Terho Korhonen, Saku Heimonen, and Joni Härkönen, who rebranded the project from Damion upon the arrival of vocalist Aleksi Paasonen. The band made its recording debut with the EP Incarceration in November 2015. The group gained recognition in 2019 after winning the Tuska Torstai competition and performing at the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival. Following a contract with Out of Line Music, the ensemble released the studio album Dead End Diaries (2020), which received coverage in the German metal press. Their discography included the albums ABYZMAL (2023) and Save Our Souls (2025). The band also released the EP Just to Lose It All (2024), alongside singles including "Babylon" and "Hypocrite". Paasonen and the ensemble established a reputation for energetic live performances.
