Action Swingers were an American indie rock/garage punk band formed in New York City in the late 1980s, fronted by singer/guitarist Ned Hayden. Their debut single "Bum My Trip" / "Kicked In The Head" was recorded in 1989. Following lineup changes, including the departure of Julia Cafritz, who formed Free Kitten with Kim Gordon, the band released their self-titled debut album in September 1991. They released three further albums, Decimation Blvd. (1993), the compilation Quit While You're Ahead (1994), and Complete London Toe Rag Session (1998), after which the band split up. Their final live performance was recorded and released as Enough Already! ...Live! in 2004.
