Dunkelwerk is a German studio project established in 2003 by the producer known as losttrooper. The group describes its sound as Endzeit Electro, which incorporates dark electronic beats with themes of war and apocalyptic scenarios. Dunkelwerk released the debut single "Die Sechste Armee" (2004) on the compilation recording Square Matrix 004. Their recording career included the debut studio recording Troops (2005), which reached number 6 on the German DAC charts. The ensemble released the studio recording Höllenbrut (2009), which was also issued as a limited two-CD box set featuring the exclusive EP Nightbreeders. Their work is featured on various compilations and includes remixes for musicians such as The Retrosic.
