Claus Larsen is a Danish industrial and electro-industrial musician. He is recognized as the founder of the project Leæther Strip. In 1991, Larsen established the side project Klute, which blended electro-industrial music with industrial metal and sampled guitars. The project released the EP Explicit (1991) and the album Excluded (1993). Following the release of the EP Excel in 1996, the project became inactive. Larsen resumed the project in 2006, rebranding as Klutæ to distinguish his work from the drum and bass artist Tom Withers. That year, he released the EP Sinner and the album Hit 'n' Run for the label Alfa Matrix. His discography included the albums Electro Punks Unite (2011), the double album EXEcution (2012), Queer for Satan (2020), and Godsent (2025).
