Ten East is an American rock band originating from the Palm Desert and Los Angeles area. The group was formed by musicians who shared a passion for improvised jamming and diverse musical influences, including rock, psychedelic, Latin, jazz, blues, surf, and punk. Their debut album, Extraterrestrial Highway, was released in 2006 via Cobraside Records. The band's second album, The Robot's Guide to Freedom, followed in 2008 under Lexicon Devil. Ten East's lineup has evolved over the years, featuring notable members such as Gary Arce and Bill Stinson of Yawning Man, and Erik Harbers and Pieter Holkenborg of Automatic Sam. In February 2015, they opened for Yawning Man and Fatso Jetson at De Hip in Deventer, Netherlands. Their third album, Skyline Pressure, was released in 2016.
