Trio Farfarello, a German acoustic rock band, was formed in 1982 in Hilden. The group initially consisted of violinist Mani Neumann, guitarist Ulli Brand, and bassist Ecke Volk. Their musical influences ranged from traditional Romanian music to progressive rock. In 1984, Trio Farfarello released their album Farfarello. This was followed by Farfarello 2 in 1986 and Toys in 1988, which included the single "Domino". The band's lineup evolved over time, with various guest musicians contributing to their sound. Notable collaborations include working with Chris Thompson on the 1990 single "Sea of Emotion" and producing albums like Classics with the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie in 2001. In July 2012, the band played for a week in the South of France and performed at the Violin Festival in Berlin. In August, they also performed at the 4th Grammo Music Festival. They released the album, ZeitZone, in 2015.
