Terrestrial Tones is an American experimental rock duo formed in 2004, consisting of Dave Portner (Avey Tare) and Eric Copeland. The duo began recording together when both of their respective primary bands, Animal Collective and Black Dice, went on temporary hiatus. Their debut album Blasted was released in 2005 under Psych-o-path Records. This was followed by Oboroed/Circus Lives, released the same year under UUAR. In March 2006, they released their final album Dead Drunk through Paw Tracks. The duo also contributed a remix to Panda Bear's single "Bro's" in 2006.
