Igneous Audio exploded onto the indie scene in winter 2008. The band played their first show at an open jam night and as the roar from the third encore ebbed, they were offered a headlining gig. Even the bar closing wasn’t enough to stop the heat from that show, where bar staff abandoned their positions to join the crowd in front of the stage for the fourth and fifth encore. Igneous Audio held the number one spot on Super Nova for six weeks straight, and the three songs featured on the site were ranked in the top ten for months after. Bryce Kelley of radio station Sonic 102.9, said of Igneous Audio “These guys put on a killer show, and their debut album has blown me away!” Tim Morgan, Music Director for radio station Q107 said “I can’t wait to hear what’s next for these guys. A special and RARE talent.”
