Fabian Dudek, born on July 11, 1995 in Groß-Gerau, Germany, is a saxophonist specializing in jazz. He started playing the recorder and clarinet before taking up the alto saxophone at ten years old under Oliver Leicht. Growing up in Nauheim and Rüsselsheim, Dudek was influenced by his father's extensive record collection and local concerts. His early performances included tours with the Immanuel Kant School's big band, the IKS Swing Kids, to France and Lithuania. In 2014, he enrolled at the Cologne University of Music, completing both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 2022. Dudek has collaborated with various artists such as Jonas Burgwinkel and Sebastian Sternal, and was a member of bands like The Where Me?! and Woodchip. He released several albums, including Isolated Flowers (2022) and La Campagne Protecting a Picture That’s Fading (2023).
