Art Hirahara, born 1971, is an American jazz pianist and composer. After studies at Oberlin Conservatory and California Institute of the Arts, he moved to New York City in 2003 and joined the local jazz scene. His debut as a leader, Edge of this Earth, was released in 2000. In 2011, he released Noble Path, followed by Libations & Meditations (2015), Central Line (2017), Sunward Bound (2018), Balance Point (2020), Open Sky (2021), Verdant Valley (2022), Echo Canyon (2023), and Good Company (2024). Hirahara has also collaborated with Donny McCaslin and Boris Koslov.
