ear, an American electronic music duo from Annandale‑on‑Hudson, New York, formed in 2024 by Jonah Paz and Yaelle Avtan while studying at Bard College. They first recorded "Nerves" on Avtan’s smartphone in the university library, a single that quickly amassed 200 k monthly listeners on streaming platform and marked their breakout. In 2025 they released their debut album The Most Dear and the Future, which included the track "Real Life" that was named one of The Fader’s best songs of 2025. The duo supported Yung Lean in Canada, held a backyard show at UCLA, and completed a sold‑out European tour with two shows at Ormside Projects in London. They followed up with the 2026 album Rumspringa, released in May 2026.
