Joey Eppard is an American music writer, recording artist, and the lead vocalist and guitarist for the experimental/progressive rock band 3. He rose to prominence through his work with the band, which released its debut album Paint by Number in 1999 under Planet Noise Records. He followed this with the release of his solo album Been to the Future in 2002, showcasing acoustic material alongside reworked versions of songs associated with his work in 3. That same year, he continued developing his sound with the band’s second album, Half Life (2002), followed by Summercamp Nightmare (2003) and Wake Pig (2004). In addition to his work with 3, he has collaborated with various artists and groups, including Parliament-Funkadelic.
