Pain Teens was an American experimental noise rock band formed in 1985 in Houston, Texas. The group was founded by Bliss Blood on vocals and Scott Ayers on guitar. Their debut album, Pain Teens, was released in 1988 on their own label Anomie Records. The band's lineup evolved over the years, with notable additions including Frank Garymartin on drums and Kirk Carr on bass. Later, they signed with Trance Syndicate Records and released several albums, including Born in Blood (1990), Stimulation Festival (1992), and Destroy Me, Lover (1993). The band disbanded in 1995 following the release of its final album, Beast of Dreams. Afterward, Bliss Blood formed The Moonlighters, while Ayers went on to play with bands including Truth Decay and Walking Timebombs.
