[die!] was a Neue Deutsche Härte band founded in 1995 in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, by vocalist Oliver Jung and keyboardist Kai Engel. The early line‑up added guitarist George Platen and drummer Patric Busch in 1996, and bassist Arthur Pucilowski joined the same year, leading to their debut EP Schwarz in 1998 and first full‑length Schluss Mit Lustig in 2000. After a contract with ZAP in 2002 produced the Der Grief‑Musikversion demo, the band signed with Black Bards Entertainment in 2004. They released Manche Bluten Ewig in 2005, opening for Megaherz and later touring with Oomph! and Crematory; the single "Geh Mit Mir" followed. In 2006, they issued Stigmata, and after vocalist Oliver Jung left, Mathias Elsholz took the role. The final album, Still, dropped in 2009. Disbandment came in May 2012 after the departure of Elsholz, Patrick Fischer, and Patric Busch.
