Richenda Antoinette de Winterstein Gillespie, also known as Dana Gillespie, born on March 30, 1949, in Woking, Surrey, England, is a British actress, singer, and songwriter. She began her musical journey as an adolescent at the Marquee Club, where she performed with Donovan and Jimmy Page. Her first album, Foolish Seasons, was released in 1968 and featured collaborations with Page and John Paul Jones. Gillespie's acting career included roles in productions like Jesus Christ Superstar. She continued to release albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Weren't Born a Man, produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson. Her discography spans over forty albums, with notable releases like I'm a Woman (The Blues Line) (1986) featuring Mojo Blues Band, and a compilation album, Blues It Up (1990).
