Pignoise, a Spanish pop punk band, was formed in 2002 by Álvaro Benito on vocals and guitar, Pablo Alonso Álvarez on bass and backing vocals, and Héctor Polo on drums. The group's breakthrough came with their album Anunciado en Televisión in 2006, featuring the hit single "Nada que perder" from the TV series Los hombres de Paco. This led to a record deal with Warner DRO and extensive touring across Spain. Their follow-up album, Cuestión de gustos, was released in 2007. They notably composed and performed the official song for the Eurocopa 2008, "Pasar de Cuartos". In 2010, they released Año Zero, featuring the single "Todo me da igual" and a special edition with additional content.
