Mythos, a Canadian new age musical project, was founded in 1996 by Bob D'Eith and Paul Schmidt. The duo released their initial albums, Introspection and Iridescence, under Spark Records. Their breakthrough came with the eponymous album in 1998, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Top New Age Albums chart. Notable releases include The Reality of a Dreamer, nominated for the West Coast Music Award Best Electronic (Techno, House) Release, and Eternity, which won the Western Canadian Music Award for "Best Instrumental Album" in 2003. Mythos continued to release albums such as Purity and Journey. The group celebrated their 15th anniversary with the release of "Rain" in 2010, a remixed version of "Wind". In 2021, they released a 25th Anniversary Album XXV, featuring five new tracks.
