The Gizmos, an American punk band from Bloomington, Indiana, formed in 1976. The original lineup included Ken Highland, Eddie Flowers, Ted Niemiec, and members of Cerberus, including Rich Coffee, Dave Sulak, Rick Czajka, and Jim DeVries. They released three 7-inch EPs on Gulcher Records between 1976 and 1978. In late 1977, the band disbanded briefly before reforming with new members under Ted Niemiec's leadership. This version released the Never Mind the Sex Pistols Here's the Gizmos EP in 1978. After Niemiec left, Dale Lawrence continued using the band name with a new lineup.
