Thine Eyes Bleed, a Canadian melodic death metal band from London, Ontario, was formed in 2004. The group's lineup included Justin Wolfe on vocals, Jeff Phillips on guitars, Darryl Stephens on drums, Johnny Araya on bass, and Nigel Curley on guitars. In 2004, Thine Eyes Bleed embarked on a tour across the United States. Their first significant breakthrough came with their debut album In the Wake of Separation, released in 2005. Thine Eyes Bleed also participated in the 2006 The Unholy Alliance tour alongside bands such as Lamb of God, Mastodon, and Children of Bodom. In 2008, they released their self-titled second album, followed by The Embers Rise in 2011.
