Dodge City Productions, a British hip hop/acid jazz group based in London, was formed in 1991 by IG Culture (Ian Grant) and DJ Dodge (Roger Drakes). They signed to the 4th & Broadway record label and released their debut single "Ain't Going For That" in 1992. Their first album, Steppin' Up And Out, followed in 1993. The group was also known for their remixes under the name "City Lick," working with artists like Gang Starr and Digital Underground. Dodge City Productions disbanded in the early 1990s. Following the split, IG Culture founded the One Drop Interrouter label. DJ Dodge pursued a successful remixing and producing career, earning residencies at notable clubs and receiving multiple MOBO award nominations for Best Club DJ from 1997 to 1999 and Best Producer in 1999 for Beverley Knight's "Made It Back".
