Two Lone Swordsmen were a British electronic music duo from London, formed in 1996 by Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood following the dissolution of Weatherall's group The Sabres of Paradise. Their initial releases included The Fifth Mission (Return to Flightpath Estate) on Emissions Audio Output in 1996, a label run by Weatherall. In 1998, they signed with Warp Records and released their second album, Stay Down, which was later ranked number 22 on Pitchfork's 50 Best IDM Albums of All Time list. The duo continued to release critically acclaimed albums such as Tiny Reminders (2000), which reached number 19 on Pitchfork's Top 20 Albums of 2000, and From the Double Gone Chapel in 2004. On February 17, 2020, Weatherall died due to a pulmonary embolism at age 56, marking the end of Two Lone Swordsmen as Tenniswood decided to fold the group.
