Full Flava, a production team consisting of Rob Derbyshire and Paul Solomon from Birmingham, England, began their career in the early 2000s. The duo, assisted by backing singer Tee, specialized in producing R&B and soul records for established artists including Chantay Savage, Beverlei Brown, Ruby Turner, Carleen Anderson, Hazel Fernandes, Alison Limerick, CeCe Peniston, and Donna Gardier. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Chinese Whispers (2000) under Dôme Records, featuring singles such as "Betcha Wouldn't Hurt Me" and "Chinese Whispers". Full Flava released their second album Colour of My Soul (2003), followed by Music Is Our Way of Life (2007). Notable songs from their discography also include "Stories", "For My Baby" and "You Are the Universe".
