Flying Saucer Attack was an English space rock band formed in Bristol in 1992, featuring songwriter David Pearce. The group initially included Rachel Brook and other musicians who contributed to recordings and live performances. Flying Saucer Attack released their debut single "Soaring High" in 1993 on their own FSA label, followed by "Wish". Their first studio album, Flying Saucer Attack, was also released in 1993, which included a cover of Suede's "The Drowners". The band signed to Domino Recording Company and released subsequent albums including Further (1995), New Lands (1997), and Mirror (2000). Notable songs include "Land Beyond the Sun" and a cover of Wire's "Outdoor Miner". After a 15-year hiatus, Flying Saucer Attack released Instrumentals 2015 in 2015.
