The Coffinshakers, a Swedish Gothic country band formed in 1995 in Karlstad, blended traditional country and rockabilly influences with gothic themes. The group was founded by vocalist and guitarist Robert Fjällsby, known as Rob Coffinshaker. Their single "Dracula Has Risen From The Grave" was released in 1996. In 1998, the band released their first album We Are The Undead, which included notable songs like "Black Sunday" and "Pale Man in Black". They performed at Hultsfred Festival in 1999. Their second album, The Coffinshakers, was released in 2007 and reached number 38 on the Finnish Top 40 album charts. In 2022, Svart Records issued a deluxe box set titled The Curse of the Coffinshakers 1996–2016. The band's album, Graves, Release Your Dead, was released in 2023 and received praise for its cinematic scope.
