The Bigger Lights were an American rock group from Vienna, Virginia, that formed in 2007. Lead vocalist Christopher “Topher” Talley joined founding rhythm guitarist John Kendall “JK” Royston and bassist Dan Mineart after a search for a singer, and the trio later added drummer Ryan Seaman and guitarist Chris McPeters. Within a year, the band signed with Doghouse Records and released the Fiction Fever EP in 2008. Their self‑titled debut album came out in 2010, followed by the full‑length Battle Hymn in 2011. The group also toured with acts such as My Favorite Highway, Hey Monday, and Never Shout Never. In 2011, Seaman left the band.
