Los Crazy Boys is a Mexican rock and roll band from Mexico City established in 1957. The group was founded by vocalist Luis “Vivi” Hernández and drummer Luis Heriberto Sánchez along with musicians Luis Ángel Vallejo, Luis Raúl Lara, José Luis Scali, and Alejandro Sánchez. The ensemble reached wider visibility for its energetic style and appeared in the film A ritmo de twist. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Rock con Los Crazy Boys (1960). The ensemble reached professional recognition for hit singles including "Leroy", "La Pulga", and "Corina, Corina". The group is credited as the first rock ensemble in Mexico to utilize violins in their recordings. Following the departure of Hernández for a solo career, the ensemble released their third studio recording featuring vocalist Luis R. Lara. Hernández died in 1977. The ensemble's discography was subsequently reissued through the label Discos Orfeón.
