Rekka Katakiri (片霧烈火) was born on December 8 in Japan and pursued a career as a singer. After early training in vocal performance, she released her debut single “Blue Link Emotion” in 2003. Her first album, SEVEN DEADLY SINS, arrived on 15 August 2004, followed by みんのうた。 on 3 November 2004, establishing her presence on the independent label KNS Entertainment. In 2006 she issued 空の軋みと歪める世界の無き、声 and the EP ひぐらしのなく頃に かけらむすび~ハジマリ~, which formed part of the broader Higurashi project rather than serving as a theme for the television anime. Subsequent releases—including キネマ・イン・ザ・ホール (2007), the History of WORXSONGz volumes (2011), and FLOWER PAINTER (15 July 2017)—showed a steady output under Team Entertainment and independent labels. Notable singles such as “東京ジオラマ” (2007) and “恋する☆ひよこ” (2015) contributed to her visibility across game and anime-related music. Her work on 車輪の国、向日葵の少女 included contributions to associated music releases connected to that visual novel. Throughout her career, Katakiri contributed theme songs to several anime titles, including Shin Koihime Muso and projects linked with Kokoro Connect, solidifying her role as a prominent voice in contemporary Japanese pop and electronic music.
