Bluttat was a German punk band from Mülheim an der Ruhr formed in 1981 by Jörg Ramin, Ralph Mertingk, and Hans-Uwe Koch. Their early lineup included singer Anja Mülders, who joined after they gained attention during a factory occupation. They released their debut album Liberté (1982) and became pioneers of the German anarcho-punk scene. They followed up with the albums Nkululeko (1984) and Cash, Invoice or Credit Card (1986) before disbanding in 1986. After their breakup, members pursued various projects including PayBack, Kluesen, The Prangles, Melon Xpress, Stahlhamster, and Antiplug. They reunited for sporadic performances in 1998, 2009, the 2010s, and a tour through Colombia in 2017. Their discography includes the album Freiheit! (1995) and the notable re-releases Cash, Invoice or Credit Card and More (1998) and Raw and Pure (2013).
