dos is an American rock duo formed in 1985 by bassist and vocalist Mike Watt and bassist and vocalist Kira Roessler. The pair met in 1983 after she replaced Chuck Dukowski as the bassist of Black Flag, and began improvising two-bass jams while dating in the fall of 1985. Their self-titled debut album, dos, was released on New Alliance Records in 1986, following a debut performance opening for Greg Ginn's group Gone. The duo followed with the EP numero dos (1989) and the compilation uno con dos (1989). Following their marriage and subsequent amicable divorce in 1994, they continued to collaborate, releasing justamente tres (1996) on Kill Rock Stars. In 2011, they released dos y dos on Watt's Clenchedwrench label. Their performances included an annual benefit show at the Sacred Grounds Coffee House in San Pedro, California.
