Koichi Tsutaya, born on May 19, 1976, in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, is a multifaceted music producer, arranger, composer, and lyricist known for his involvement in various bands and extensive work across numerous music genres. After the dissolution of his band CANNABIS, where he was a keyboardist, Tsutaya transitioned into a robust solo career, providing music production, composition, and arrangement for a wide array of artists. His contributions have spanned from YUKI and Superfly to bands like Official HIGE DANDISM and artists like Kenshi Yonezu. His skillset includes an eclectic ability to integrate orchestral elements with jazz, rock, hip-hop, and dance music, creating universally appealing melodies and rich arrangements that have seen him actively involved in both studio productions and live music settings.
