Bats & Mice

Bats & Mice, an American indie rock band, was formed in 2000 by Sleepytime Trio members Jonathan Fuller, David NeSmith, and Ben Davis. The group released their first work, a self-titled EP Bats & Mice, on Lovitt Records in the fall of 2000. The band's lineup evolved over the years, with members involved in other projects such as Milemarker and Rah Bras. In spring 2002, Bats & Mice released their full-length album Believe It Mammals after replacing Jonathan Fuller temporarily with Daron Hollowell and Ash Bruce from Four Hundred Years. The band toured extensively with acts like Fugazi and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. Following further lineup changes, including the addition of Mark Oates as drummer in 2010, Bats & Mice released their second EP, A Person Carrying a Handmade Paper Bag Is Considered as a Royal Person, in May 2004.
