Ljubomir Aličić, known professionally as Ljuba Aličić, is a Serbian folk singer born on November 2, 1955, in Šabac, FPR Yugoslavia. His career began at age 16 with the release of his first single, "Pruži mi ruku, prijatelju moj", in 1971. Aličić's breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Hoću susret u četiri oka in 1979, followed by Nisi znala za bol srca moga in 1980. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he released numerous albums including Ostavljen živim bez tebe (1981), Voleli smo isto vino, istu ženu (1982), and Gde si sada, prijatelju moj (1983). His notable songs include "Hej, ćuprijo na Miljacki" and "Ciganin sam, al' najlepši", the latter being his biggest hit released in 2003. Aličić released albums into the 2000s and 2010s, including Sve je laž (2013). With a career of over five decades, he became a prominent figure in Serbian folk music.
