Marta Savić, born May 7, 1966 in Vranjak, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a Bosnian-born Serbian turbo-folk singer and songwriter. When she was two months old, her family settled in the Serbian town of Jaša Tomić, and in 1978 relocated to Hannover, Germany, where she completed her primary and secondary education. In 1988, she married the singer Mile Kitić, with whom she had a daughter, Elena, who also became a singer. Her recording career began in 1988 with her debut studio album, Zaboravi druge žene, followed by Proklet bio (1990). Her subsequent studio albums include Grešnica (1993), Nemoj bar ti (1994), Kad sam srela (1996), Kad zavoliš, pa izgubiš (1999), Dijamanti, brilijanti (2000), Ikad ili nikad (2001), Nismo pucali jedno u drugo (2002), Ravno do Kosova (2003), Erotica (2006), Muški kompleksi (2009), and 13 (2011). Following the release of her album 13, she mostly focused on songwriting rather than her recording career.
