For 3 weeks in August 2021, Cab Ellis holed up in the converted farmhouse Bear Creek Studio of Wood- inville, WA. Far away from the noise & bustle of their lives in LA, they recorded their second album, “The East Coast Hold On.” With the help of producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor), the band hammered away at 11 songs, experimenting with alternate guitar tunings, loops, & even layering more than 50 saxophones on 1 song to craft their own indie-rock sound.
