Anna Monika Dąbrowska, born 7 January 1981 in Chełm, Poland, is a Polish pop singer who gained recognition in the early 2000s after a brief stint on the talent show Idol. Her early single "Tego Chce" preceded the release of Samotność po zmierzchu in 2004, which earned a gold certification. In 2006, she followed with Kilka historii na ten sam temat, which achieved platinum status. The 2008 album W spodniach, czy w sukience? continued the retro sound. In 2010, she released Ania Movie, a covers collection that topped the OLis chart for seven weeks. Throughout her career, Dąbrowska has released six studio albums, five of which reached Number 1 in Poland and sold over 250,000 copies, while accumulating multiple Fryderyk nominations.
