Svffer was a German band formed in 2013 with members originating from Bielefeld and Münster. The group's initial lineup included guitarist Benni, who had previously been part of Alpinist, and drummer Jan Hendrik Hagemann from Unrest. They met at the Münsteraner Club Triptychon and were joined by vocalist Leonie Löllmann from Bielefeld. Their debut release was an EP titled Svffer in 2013. The band's first full-length album, Lies We Live, was recorded at the Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg and released in 2014 through Per Koro Records and Vendetta Records. In 2015, they released their second album, Empathist. Svffer's music blended elements of hardcore and grindcore, featuring complex song structures and high-speed playing. The band supported various political causes, including the "Anarchist Black Cross Belarus." The band announced its breakup in January 2015, later concluding its activities with a final EP and tour in 2025, which was postponed due to illness.
