Dimple Minds, a German fun-punk band from Brême, was formed in 1986 by five school friends. The group released their first demo Blau auf'm Bau in 1987, securing a distribution deal for their debut album Trinker an die Macht. The band faced controversy due to explicit lyrics, leading to indexation by the Federal Review Board for Media Harmful to Minors in 1988. Despite this, they continued releasing albums like Durstige Männer (1990) and Volle Kelle Live, which reached number 69 on the German album charts. They charted again with their 1993 album *Die Besten trinken aus*, which reached the Top 100. After a period of reduced activity beginning in the early 2000s, they returned with Toleranz ist heilbar! in 2007 and released Krank Not Dead in 2014.
