Äi-Tiem, a German hip-hop group from Cologne, was founded in 1986 by Frank Schnütgen, also known as Hans Solo, and Ralph Dammers, aka Lord Fader. The duo began producing their first records in 1988 but initially struggled to secure a record deal. Their music was characterized by Hans Solo's distinctive rap lyrics and Lord Fader's beats. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Alles Absicht" in 1991 and "Kein Kommentar" in 1993. The group's discography includes notable albums such as Wenn Hier Einer Schiesst Dann Bin Ich Das (1995), Musik Für Taube Ohren (2003), and Murphies Gesetz (Oder Wegen Geldmangel Verschoben) (2006). Throughout their career, Äi-Tiem collaborated with various artists and labels, including Blitz Vinyl and Holy Chaos.
