Bacil

Martin Ivanič, born in 1981 in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a Slovak rapper known as Bacil. He began in the mid-1990s with the trio Vandali, later joining Drvivá Menšina and Názov Stavby, where he appeared on early releases such as the 2000 vinyl LúzaDrviváMenšina. In 2008 he released his debut solo album Poézia Ulice under Bottleshop Records, preceded by the single “Poézia Ulice”. He followed with the 2012 collaboration Abnormal with Rakbym, which spawned videos for tracks like “Ukáž mi” and “Zachráň ma”; the former reached 88th place in the Slovak TOP 100 and 12th in the domestic chart. Bacil’s tracks also gained radio play and online viewership.
