Andrea Marie Truden, known professionally as Andrea True, and born on July 26, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee, was a disco singer. She gained prominence with "More, More, More", a disco hit released under The Andrea True Connection project in 1976. The song peaked at number 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 5 on the UK singles chart. Following this success, she released her debut album More, More, More (1976) and performed extensively. Her subsequent singles "N.Y., You Got Me Dancing" (1977) and "What's Your Name, What's Your Number" (1978) also charted. True released two more albums, White Witch (1977) and War Machine (1980), before retiring from the music industry due to vocal cord issues. She received renewed publicity in 1999 when Len sampled "More, More, More" for their single "Steal My Sunshine". Andrea True passed away on November 7, 2011.
