Tipographica was a Japanese group formed in 1986 by Tsuneo Imahori. The band blended jazz with rock progressive and experimental music, incorporating unconventional instruments and noise elements, and drew significant influence from Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention. Their debut album Tipographica was released in 1993, followed by The Man Who Does Not Nod in 1995. In 1996, they released God Says I Can't Dance, and their final album, Floating Opera, was released in 1997. The band disbanded in July of that same year.
