Fluf, a punk rock band from San Diego, California, was formed in 1992 by Otis Barthoulameu on vocals and guitar, Jonny Donhowe on bass guitar, and drummer Miles Gillett. The group's debut came with the release of several seven-inch singles, notably "Sheela Na Gig" (1993), a cover version of PJ Harvey's song. Their first album, Mangravy, was released in 1993 under various titles depending on the format. In 1994, they followed up with Home Improvements. Donhowe left the band in 1996 and was replaced by Josh Higgins. This lineup recorded their major label debuts, Waikiki (1997) and Road Rage (1998), both released under MCA Records. Their final album-length EP, I Know I'm Nobody, was released in 2000. Donhowe died in March 2020, followed by Barthoulameu in February 2023.
