Kleinstadthelden was a German pop-rock band formed in 2004 in Osterholz-Scharmbeck by Simon Lam, Max Krämer, and Nici Kapsalis. The trio began performing locally before adding Felix Weidenhöfer as a second guitarist. In 2007, Kapsalis left the band and was replaced by Nils Freesemann. Shortly before releasing a debut album, Resignation und Aufstehen (2008), Krämer also departed and was succeeded by Uli Wortmann. They performed with prominent artists such as Silbermond, Nena, and New Model Army. Their second studio album, Osterholz-Scharmbeck (2010), was preceded by the single "Indie Boys" (2010). They represented Bremen in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2010, securing position number 11. Kleinstadthelden announced their disbandment in 2013, concluding with a final concert in Bremen on November 30 of that year.
