Cynthia Dall, born Cynthia Meggin Loya on March 12, 1971, in Roseville, California, was an American lo-fi musician and photographer. She began her music career by contributing vocals to Bill Callahan's project Smog, appearing on the song "Wine Stained Lips" from the 1994 single "A Hit". Dall went on to collaborate with Smog on several EPs, including Burning Kingdom, Wild Love, and The Doctor Came at Dawn. In 1996, she released her debut solo album, Untitled, which featured arrangements by Jim O'Rourke and vocals from Callahan. Dall's second album, Sound Restores Young Men, was recorded with O'Rourke and Tim Green of The Fucking Champs in 2002. Throughout her career, Dall was known for her involvement in the fanzine scene of the 1990s and her activism in Sacramento. She passed away on April 5, 2012.
