23-year-old Will Burton is an independent rock/alt-rock artist from London, UK. His music is driven by melody and his broad influences give him a unique sound and take on the genre.
Burton took up music at a young age and fell in love with rock aged 6 listening to the British pop-punk bands Busted and Lil Chris. He began writing and producing his own songs aged 15 using the GarageBand app on his phone and decided aged 19 to pursue a career in music after university. At the University of Nottingham, he joined the band MkV and played extensively in both the student and local music scenes. He returned eager to begin his career in 2020 and although the pandemic prevented him from playing live, Burton spent the year perfecting his songwriting and production skills and recording his upcoming debut EP “Modern Misery”.
His debut single "Paparazzi Machine" arrived on all streaming platforms on the 2nd of July 2021 and was the first single off of “Modern Misery”. His second single “Cold” is set to be released on the 1st of October 2021.
