Emerson Drive is a Canadian country music band formed in 1995 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The group originally performed under the name 12 Gauge, releasing the album Open Season in 1996 and Until You Walk the Tracks in 1997. After relocating to Nashville in 1999 and adopting the name Emerson Drive, the band signed with DreamWorks and released its self-titled debut album Emerson Drive in 2002, which featured the singles "I Should Be Sleeping", peaking at number 4 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and "Fall into Me", peaking at number 3. The 2004 album What If? included the single "Last One Standing". After signing with Midas Records Nashville, the band released Countrified in 2006, whose single "Moments" reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Subsequent releases included the albums Believe (2009) and Roll (2012), the compilation album Decade of Drive (2011), and the EP Tilt-a-Whirl (2015).
