Alog, a Norwegian musical duo formed in Tromsø in 1997, consists of musicians Espen Sommer Eide and Dag-Are Haugan. The duo began their career as performers of experimental electronic music. Their debut album, Red Shift Swing, was released in 1999, marking a significant breakthrough for the group. Alog continued to release notable albums such as Duck-Rabbit (2001) and Miniatures (2005). In 2005, Alog won the Spellemannprisen, Norway's equivalent of the Grammy Award. The group released several other albums, including Amateur (2007) and Unemployed (2011). Throughout their career, Alog recorded on the Rune Grammofon label, which is known for its diverse roster of Norwegian artists.
