The Stetsons were an Australian country and western band formed in 1987, comprising members from bands including GANGgajang, Mental As Anything, and Flying Emus. The group released their self-titled debut album The Stetsons in the same year, followed by live shows at the Tamworth Country Music Festival for the next two years. In 1997, producer Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup and Andrew Richardson collaborated with former ABC JJJ sound engineer Keith Walker to release Their Most Successful Record... Ever. The album featured three singles with accompanying videos, including ""Romancing the Stone", which was used in the film Crocodile Dundee II. The band included musicians such as Chris Bailey from The Angels, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter from Doobie Brothers, and Wayne Goodwin from Flying Emus.
