Born in Nigeria, raised in South Africa, and discovered in the United States, Vic’s musical tastes are as diverse as his upbringing. He says, “ I don’t see genre as a box that I am to be thrown in. I see genre as my paintbrush. I use whatever paintbrush is necessary to help you see the full picture.” Vic started putting out music independently in 2017 under the moniker “The Vicious Vic”. Initially honing his craft in hip-hop, he has found renewed inspiration in Afrobeat. Vic has over 7 million streams across platforms. His song “Enough” charted for multiple weeks on the Billboard Christian AC charts.
